Sellics Alternative: Shurq vs Sellics (Now Perpetua)
Sellics is no longer sold on its own: it joined Perpetua in 2022 after Ascential agreed to acquire it, and sellics.com now redirects to perpetua.io. Pick Perpetua for that successor, plus Walmart, Instacart, Amazon DSP and managed services, from $695 a month. Pick Shurq for Amazon-only PPC automation with hourly profit per product at $200 a month.
Looking for a Sellics alternative? Sellics now lives inside Perpetua, so this page compares Shurq with what Sellics became. Every Perpetua fact comes from Perpetua's own site or Ascential's 2022 announcement.

Amazon analytics and PPC automation
Sellics
Part of Perpetua since 2022
What was Sellics, and what happened to it?
Sellics was a Berlin company that sold Amazon advertising software. Ascential's 2022 announcement described it as a mix of ad spend optimization, campaign automation and profit analytics for brands selling on Amazon in the US and Europe.
On 18 April 2022, Perpetua's blog announced that Sellics was joining forces with Perpetua. The next day, Ascential plc, whose Digital Commerce unit included Perpetua, told the London Stock Exchange it had agreed to acquire Sellics and merge it into Perpetua. When we checked on 3 October 2026, sellics.com redirected to perpetua.io.
So a Sellics alternative today means Perpetua, its direct successor, or another tool that does the same jobs. The rest of this page helps you choose.
What should a Sellics replacement cover?
List the jobs you used Sellics for, then check each one against both options.
- Bid automation. Both automate bids: Perpetua from goals you define, Shurq from your own hourly data and custom rules, with every change recorded.
- Profit, not only ACoS. Sellics sold profit analytics. Perpetua lists performance and profitability reporting on every plan. Shurq deducts Amazon fees, COGS, PPC spend and refunds to show profit per product, updated hourly.
- Hourly data. If you daypart, check where it starts: Perpetua lists hourly reporting from its Growth tier, over $10k a month in ad spend. Shurq Pro includes it at any spend.
- Search terms. Perpetua's help center says its engine lowers bids on keywords with a low conversion rate instead of adding negatives, unless your goal type calls for them, and offers negative-match suggestions you approve. Shurq harvests converting search terms and suggests negatives from terms with spend and no sales.

Does Sellics support hourly dayparting?
Sellics is no longer sold, so the question is about Perpetua. Its help center describes bid multiplier schedules, which it also calls dayparting, that raise or lower bids by hour and day of week, applied after the engine's bid and any placement multipliers. Hourly reporting through Amazon Marketing Stream starts at its Growth tier. Shurq Pro includes hourly data and automated dayparting at any spend.

What would each option cost you?
Example 1: one Amazon account spending $8,000 a month on ads. Perpetua Essentials covers up to $10k, at $695 a month. Shurq Pro is $200 a month.
Example 2: the same account spending $20,000 a month. Perpetua's Growth tier applies: $695 a month plus an unpublished percentage of spend, so we cannot total it. Shurq Pro stays at $200 a month.
Example 3: add two more Amazon accounts to Shurq. The price becomes $200 + 2 x $50 = $300 a month, at any level of spend. Ask Perpetua how it prices several accounts; its pricing page does not say.
When is Perpetua the better choice?
- You advertise beyond Amazon. Perpetua's site covers Walmart and Instacart, plus Amazon DSP. Shurq covers Amazon only.
- You want people as well as software. Perpetua offers managed services, a Client Success team on Growth and a dedicated account team on Premium. Shurq Pro has a Customer Success Manager but no done-for-you management.
- You need Amazon Marketing Cloud. Perpetua's Premium tier includes custom AMC reporting. Shurq has none.
- You prefer goal-based automation. You set objectives such as growth, profitability or brand defense, and Perpetua's engine creates and runs the campaigns.
- You already run your ads in Perpetua and like the results. Switching has a setup cost.
When is Shurq the better choice?
- You sell on Amazon only and want PPC automation and profit reporting in one tool.
- You want a price that does not rise with ad spend. Under $10k a month, Perpetua lists $695 and Shurq Pro is $200.
- You want hourly data and dayparting without a spend threshold.
- You run several brands or a team: seats are free up to 100, and each extra connected Amazon account is $50 a month.
- You work in Claude or another MCP client: Shurq MCP is included, and every write runs only after you confirm it in chat.
How do you switch to Shurq?
- Start the 30-day free trial. No credit card is needed.
- Connect Seller Central and Amazon Ads through Amazon's own authorization. Shurq then pulls in your campaigns, ad groups and targeting.
- Enter COGS by hand, by CSV or with the bulk template. Shurq applies it retroactively, so past profit is right too.
- Hand campaigns over in stages. Turn off bid automation in your old tool for every campaign Shurq manages, so two tools never change the same bids.
- Turn on dayparting once Shurq has hourly data for your own account.
