Perpetua Alternative: Shurq vs Perpetua for Amazon Sellers

Choose Perpetua if you need Amazon, Walmart, Instacart and Amazon DSP in one goal-based ad engine, or custom AMC reporting; plans start at $695 a month. Choose Shurq if you sell on Amazon and want hourly data, dayparting and true profit per product at every spend level for $200 a month, with no share of ad spend.

Perpetua is an active retail media platform, sold under its own name with its own pricing page. What decides between the two tools is price, when you get hourly data, and whether you need channels beyond Amazon.

Why look for a Perpetua alternative?

Perpetua's own pricing page frames the decision. Plans start at $695 a month. Accounts spending over $10k a month on ads move to the Growth tier, which adds a percentage of ad spend that the page does not list. Hourly reporting and hourly share of voice start at that tier too. That pricing and channel mix are built for brands running retail media across several channels.

Shurq is built for Amazon sellers who want advertising and true profit in one place, updated hourly, at a flat $200 a month for Shurq Pro. Below you will find a feature table, example costs at three spend levels, and the cases where Perpetua is the better pick.

Is Perpetua still available?

Yes. Perpetua runs perpetua.io with a public pricing page, a help center updated in 2026, and an MCP connection for Claude and ChatGPT announced in September 2026. Its ownership has changed (see the FAQ below), but the product, pricing and sign-in are still Perpetua's own. Choosing an alternative is about fit and price, not a product going away.

Does Perpetua support hourly dayparting?

Yes. Perpetua's help center describes bid multiplier schedules, which it also calls dayparting, that raise or lower bids by time of day and day of week, applied after its other multipliers. Its Growth tier, for accounts spending over $10k a month, adds hourly reporting and intraday optimization through Amazon Marketing Stream. Shurq Pro includes hourly data and automated dayparting at every spend level.

What does Perpetua do well?

Perpetua is built around a goal-based ad engine: you set an objective such as growth, profitability, brand defense or awareness, and it creates, runs and optimizes the campaigns. Every tier includes AI-powered bid optimization and keyword harvesting, which can run fully automated, after a set number of conversions, or with manual approval. Fixed bids, bid multipliers, placement multipliers and dayparting schedules let you steer it.

Its Sales & Traffic view reports profit at account and ASIN level once you upload cost of goods, after Amazon fees, ad spend and, where Amazon reports it, VAT. Growth adds hourly share of voice, organic rank and competitor search terms; Premium adds market intelligence and custom Amazon Marketing Cloud reporting. Beyond Amazon sponsored ads, its site lists Walmart and Instacart, plus Amazon DSP, display and video advertising.

How is Shurq different from Perpetua?

Shurq covers fewer channels and goes deeper on an Amazon seller's own numbers. Shurq Pro is $200 a month at any ad spend, with 1 connected Amazon account included and $50 a month for each extra one. Hourly ad data, hourly profit and automated dayparting are all on that one plan, with no spend threshold to cross.

It also includes inventory reorder forecasting, Market IQ reverse-ASIN research (4,000 lookups a month), daily rank tracking for up to 9,000 keywords, listing optimization, Brand Analytics sync and free team seats, up to 100. Shurq supports 21 Amazon marketplaces, and Perpetua's help center lists 21 for Sponsored Products. Shurq MCP gives Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients more than 1,000 tools, and every write action is confirmed in chat before it runs.

What would each tool cost at your ad spend?

These examples use list prices only. They are not quotes.

Example 1: one Amazon account spending $5,000 a month on ads. Perpetua Essentials is $695 a month and Shurq Pro is $200, a list-price difference of $495 a month.

Example 2: one account spending $25,000 a month. Perpetua Growth is $695 a month plus a percentage of ad spend its pricing page does not list, so the total needs a quote. Shurq Pro is still $200 a month.

Example 3: three connected Amazon accounts. Shurq Pro is $200 plus two extra accounts at $50 each, so $300 a month. Perpetua prices by ad spend and does not publish how several accounts are billed.

When is Perpetua the better choice?

  • You sell on Walmart or Instacart, or buy Amazon DSP, and want those channels in the same tool as your sponsored ads. Shurq covers Amazon sponsored ads only.
  • You want to set goals and let an engine build and run the campaigns. That is the center of Perpetua's product.
  • You spend over $500k a month and need custom Amazon Marketing Cloud reporting and a dedicated account team, both listed on its Premium tier. Shurq has no AMC reporting.
  • You want a vendor team closely involved after signup. Its Growth tier lists a Client Success team. Shurq Pro onboarding is self-serve, with a dedicated Customer Success Manager.

How do you switch from Perpetua to Shurq?

Run both before you cancel anything. Start the 30-day Shurq trial (no credit card), connect Seller Central and Amazon Ads, and add your cost of goods by form, CSV or bulk template; Shurq applies it retroactively.

Give each campaign to one tool and pause the other tool's automation there, or two engines will overwrite each other's bids. Then compare the same campaigns over the same dates on profit after fees and cost of goods, not ACoS alone. Your break-even ACoS is the line to judge both against.
