Scale Insights Alternative: Shurq vs Scale Insights

Choose Scale Insights if you automate up to 20 ASINs in one country and want to build every rule yourself: those plans cost $78 to $178 a month. Choose Shurq if you automate more products and want automatic hourly ad data, profit, inventory and rank tracking in one tool for $200 a month per account.

Both tools are Amazon-only and automate Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display. Scale Insights offers a 30-day free trial and Shurq a 30-day one, both without a credit card. Scale Insights prices by automated ASIN per country. Shurq prices by connected Amazon account.

Rules-based Amazon PPC automation

What should you look for in a Scale Insights alternative?

Scale Insights is rule-based Amazon PPC software made by a team of Amazon sellers. Its About page says work on it began in 2018, and on 3 October 2026 it was still sold under its own name at scaleinsights.com, with published prices and a 30-day free trial. You assign rules to ad groups for bids, placements, budgets, negatives and status, preview what they will change, and read the calculation and change log behind every action.

It prices by automated ASIN: one ASIN automated in one country counts once, and ASINs you do not automate cost nothing. That keeps a small setup cheap, at $78 a month for 5 automated ASINs. The price climbs as you automate more ASINs, or the same ASIN in more countries: 100 automated ASINs cost $688 a month, and a separate plan charges 1% of monthly ad spend for unlimited ASINs.

So the useful test for an alternative is what you need beyond rules: how many ASINs you would automate, whether hourly ad data should arrive on its own instead of from an uploaded Amazon report, and whether you want profit, inventory and keyword tools in the same subscription as your bidding.

Shurq is one such alternative. Like Scale Insights it is Amazon-only. It prices by connected Amazon account rather than by ASIN: Shurq Pro is $200 a month for 1 account, and each extra account is $50 a month. It pulls hourly ad data from Amazon, builds dayparting schedules on it, and reports profit per product and marketplace every hour. Scale Insights is still the better pick in some cases, and this page says which.

Does Scale Insights support hourly dayparting?

Yes. The Scale Insights Dayparting Rule turns ad groups on or off by hour and can raise or lower keyword, ASIN target and audience bids for chosen hours, from -99% to +900% of the base bid. To see hourly ad performance, its help center has you upload an Amazon hourly report or run a dayparting campaign of 24 ad groups, and its Dayparting Trend shows orders and sales by hour. Shurq pulls hourly ad data from Amazon automatically and runs 7-day by 24-hour bid schedules from -80% to +200% on Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands campaigns.

One automated ASIN is one ASIN in one country, and you pay only for the ASINs you automate, not your whole catalog. Yearly billing is listed as 20% off. Extra tracked keywords are sold as add-on plans whose prices are not on the pricing page. Prices checked 3 October 2026.

When is Scale Insights the better choice?

  • You automate a few ASINs in one country. Up to 20 automated ASINs, its plans cost $78 to $178 a month, less than Shurq Pro at $200.
  • You want to write your own PPC logic rule by rule, stack several rules on one ad group, and check the step-by-step calculation behind each action.
  • You want hourly bid changes beyond Shurq's range. Its Dayparting Rule allows -99% to +900% per hour; Shurq allows -80% to +200%.
  • You want suggestions you approve one at a time. Scale Optimizer proposes up to 5 actions a day, each of which you can apply once, turn into a rule, or undo.
  • You sell through FBA in its 12 marketplaces and need PPC automation more than a wider analytics suite. Its own FAQ says it is best for FBA sellers.

When is Shurq the better choice?

  • You automate many ASINs. Shurq's price does not depend on ASIN count, so 50 automated ASINs in one country cost $200 a month on Shurq Pro against $388 on Scale Insights' Scale 50 plan.
  • You want hourly ad data without exporting reports, and dayparting schedules built on that data.
  • You want profit per product and marketplace every hour, inventory forecasting, keyword rank tracking and reverse-ASIN keyword research in the same subscription as your bidding.
  • You sell in Brazil, Poland, Sweden, Ireland, Belgium, Turkey, Egypt, India, the UAE or Saudi Arabia, which Shurq supports and Scale Insights does not list.

How do you switch from Scale Insights to Shurq?

  1. Start the 30-day free trial and connect your Seller Central and Amazon Ads accounts.
  2. Add product costs by form, CSV or bulk template. Shurq applies them retroactively, so past profit is recalculated too.
  3. Set a target ACoS and review Shurq's bid preview before you apply the first changes.
  4. Decide which tool manages each ad group. Scale Insights' help center says a base bid changed by another third-party tool clears its hourly bid adjustments, so remove its rules from an ad group before Shurq manages it.
  5. Rebuild your hourly schedules in Shurq Stream from its hourly heatmap. Keep Scale Insights until every ad group you automated there has a Shurq schedule or rule.

Frequently asked questions about Shurq vs Scale Insights

Is Shurq cheaper than Scale Insights?

It depends on how many ASINs you automate. At the prices both companies published on 3 October 2026, for one country: 5 automated ASINs cost $78 a month on Scale Insights against $200 on Shurq Pro, and 20 cost $178, so Scale Insights is cheaper. 35 automated ASINs cost $288, 50 cost $388 and 100 cost $688, while Shurq Pro stays at $200 for one connected account. On Scale Insights' 1% plan, an example $30,000 of monthly ad spend works out to $300 a month.

Does Scale Insights track profit, inventory and keyword rank?

Yes. Its help center describes P&L, ROI and break-even bids calculated from the product costs you enter, restock forecasting from your lead times, and Keyword Ranking with organic and Sponsored Products rank for 30 tracked keywords, with add-on plans for more. Shurq Pro includes hourly profit per product and marketplace, inventory value and reorder forecasting, and rank tracking for up to 9,000 keywords, 90 of them hourly.

Can I use Claude or ChatGPT with Scale Insights or Shurq?

Both offer an MCP server. Scale Insights MCP connects your Scale Insights data to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Desktop and Cursor or VS Code, with an optional skill of 46 built-in prompts. Shurq MCP is included with Shurq Pro and exposes more than 1,000 Shurq tools to Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients that support remote servers; every write action shows a preview and runs only after you confirm it.

Which Amazon marketplaces do they support?

Scale Insights lists 12 Amazon marketplaces: the US, Canada, Mexico, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, Singapore and Australia. Shurq supports 21 Amazon marketplaces, including Brazil, Poland, Sweden, Ireland, Belgium, Turkey, Egypt, India, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which Scale Insights does not list. Singapore is on Scale Insights' list but not Shurq's: Amazon closed the amazon.sg third-party store on 6 July 2026, and its sponsored ads stopped serving that night.
